We’re happy to announce that the general public can now enjoy the same deliciously prepared gourmet cuisine that has been savored at special events served by Riverhouse Catering over the years.
Our award-winning executive chefs are now bringing wholesome, nutritious food options to your family. The new location, Perfectly Prepared Gourmet to Go, is the next extension of our business and dedication to delivering fresh, delicious food to the public.
Not only will this new retail location at 1410 Highland Ave. in Cheshire offer an opportunity for us to keep doing what we love and cooking year round, even when the catering season slows down, but it also answers to a need in the market for quality gourmet meals on the go.
Hosting a dinner party? Just want to stock your freezer with some grab and go ready meals? Perfectly Prepared Gourmet to Go will offer exactly what you need!
Now you can stop quickly on your way home from work and picking up the kids to get a great dinner – and without all the hassle and time needed to prepare the meal yourself.
Take a seat and enjoy some of our healthy dishes right at our store or warm them up in the oven at your home or office.
Options will include a large selection of fresh and frozen items from entrées to side dishes, hors-d’oeuvres, salads, soups, sauces, and desserts – including vegetarian and vegan items and of course, we also offer full-service catering!
Our management and ownership group specializes in bringing event facilities to life. In addition to Riverhouse Catering, we also have award-winning wedding and event venues including The Riverhouse in Haddam, Connecticut and The Society Room in Hartford, Connecticut.

While we’ve already been using the kitchen onsite for the last three years to prepare food for catering events, the building is currently under construction and we look forward to opening later this year with a whole new look.
